We spent a month in my wife's hometown in 2021. I had begun shooting film again shortly before that trip, and brought a roll of Cinestill 800T with me, with the intention of shooting illuminated signs at night. After scouting the town, I chose this storefront as my favorite subject, but had to wait until just before our departure to catch it after an evening downpour had left the parking lot wet, reflecting the colors of the store.
